Trus Joist To Open New Plant

Trus Joist MacMillan says it will open a timber manufacturing plant in Evergreen, Ala.

The first phase of construction on the $45 million facility is scheduled to begin this fall.

The plant should employ about 150 people.

Trus Joist MacMillan, headquartered in Boise, is the world’s leading manufacturer of engineered lumber. The company currently employs 3,000 people at 15 manufacturing plants around the world.
