Two Portland women sentenced for promoting prostitution ran nearly two dozen escort services from homes, using computers, cell phones and beepers to dispatch employees.
Jessica Renee Legg, 23, ran 19 escort services out of a triplex she rented in southeast Portland.
She pleaded guilty to one count of promoting prostitution and was sentenced Tuesday in Multnomah County Circuit Court to 13 months in prison and three years probation.
In a separate case, Ingrid Anna Campbell, 36, and Crystal Ann Makin, 32, ran four escort services out of the house where Campbell lived.
Campbell pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to promote prostitution and one count of promoting prostitution, and was sentenced Tuesday to 23 months in prison and three years probation.
Makin pleaded guilty to conspiracy and two counts of promoting prostitution, but wasn’t sentenced because she failed to appear in court.
