One Killed, One Hurt In Rollover Near Burley

One woman was killed and another was critically injured early Saturday when the car they were riding in rolled on Interstate 84 southeast of Burley.

Allison Ann Parker, 20, of Salt Lake City, was killed at about 1:30 a.m. Kathleen Ann Parker, 53, of Paul, was flown to a Salt Lake City hospital in critical condition, police said.

The two were riding in a 1987 Ford van when it apparently drifted off the right side of the road. When the driver overcorrected, the van came across the left side of the road, then back across the right side before rolling 3-1/2 times off to the right side of the highway.

State police are not sure who was driving. Neither woman was wearing a seat belt.
