After a frustrating search to find someone willing to run the Internal Revenue Service, the Clinton administration has persuaded the chief executive of a Virginia computer company, Charles O. Rossotti, to accept the job, officials said Tuesday.
Rossotti, 56, is the founder and chief executive of American Management Systems, a Fairfax, Va., computer consulting company that says it works “with clients to achieve breakthrough performance through the intelligent use of information technology.”
