Police Release Identity Of Registered Sex Offender

Spokane police have released the name and photograph of a registered sex offender now living in Spokane.

Delores Hegge, 18, lives in the 1600 block of East Eighth Avenue. Hegge has been convicted of molesting a 10-year-old boy and trying to intimidate a witness in that case, said police spokesman Dick Cottam.

Under conditions of her release, Hegge is prohibited from unsupervised contact with children, Cottam said.

Authorities say Hegge’s pattern is to befriend mothers with infants and to hold the child for sexual stimulation, said police.

Hegge is 5 feet 5 inches tall, 210 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
