Postive Attitude Helps Graduating Seniors Focus

Brenda Schluter Rogers High School

Rogers High School’s class of 1997 has been very successful in its four years of high school. This group of students has excelled in the classroom as well as in many community activities. An even greater quality of this class is its overall attitude with each other. Although there are different groups, all of the students blend together.

The number of seniors graduating is very large. Normally, the graduating class size is between 230 and 240 students. This year, there are more than 300 seniors. Most of these students have high expectations of life and their college career in front of them.

The academic quality from this class is very admirable. There are six valedictorians from the class of 1997. This is the largest number of any class from Rogers. There are also 83 students graduating with a 3.5 GPA or above.

All throughout high school, this class has had a positive attitude. The students have an overall feeling of equality and unity. They have blended together to make a very strong group. Normally there are many groups that never form one. But our cohesiveness creates a great working environment in the classrooms because people are able to focus on their schoolwork instead of personal matters.

Rogers’ class of 1997 is a remarkable group of people. Their achievements as well as their attitudes made a positive learning environment for everyone who goes to school with them. It is their kind of leadership that molds bright students for years to come.
