Meeting Planned On Storm Water Flooding

Residents living in Moran Prairie, Glenrose and Central Park are invited to attend a public meeting Wednesday night on storm water flooding in those areas.

The meeting will be at Lincoln Heights Elementary School, 3322 E. 22nd, from 7-9 p.m. in the multipurpose room.

Staff members from the Spokane County utilities division will show a computerized tour of the watersheds and explain some of the options for reducing flooding and erosion.

County and city of Spokane utility staff members will also answer questions.

Information and comments from residents will be used to develop proposals for preventing the kind of flooding that plagued southeast Spokane County during the past several months.
