Moran Group Plans Fund-Raiser

The Moran Prairie Neighborhood Association is sponsoring a potluck dinner and dance Friday at the Moran Prairie Grange.

The event, from 6 to 10 p.m., will be mainly a social get together for the association, which has been working on issues related to rapid growth in the area.

Neighbors who attend are asked to bring a potluck dish and pay $5 per family.

The event is co-sponsored by the Spokane Folk Lore Society.

A band, Starry Night, will perform. Contra folk dancing is planned, and Penn Fix will be the caller.
