Boise’s Bowl Backed

An NCAA committee recommended certifying the proposed Sports Humanitarian Bowl, a Dec. 29 game at Boise State’s Bronco Stadium, contingent on organizers receiving a bank’s letter of credit by Aug. 1.

The Boise Bowl Foundation already has secured $2 million in pledges from local residents in anticipation of securing that letter of credit.
