Kids Group Gets Ywca Grant

A neighborhood program that provides activities for children received a $4,991 grant from the YWCA/ School’s Out Consortium.

The East Central Community Fun Factory offers field trips, crafts and sports activities for youths between 5 and 12 years old. The program is offered before and after school, and during summer vacation.

The Fun Factory was one of 13 programs in the state to receive the YWCA grants. The money will be used to pay for supplies and provide scholarships for participants. , DataTimes
