Sunrock Aircraft Orders Boeing Jets
Sunrock Aircraft Corp., a leasing arm of Nissho Iwai Corp. of Japan, on Tuesday ordered seven Boeing 737 jetliners, Boeing said. A potential order of 13 more planes is under negotiation.
The order, announced at the Paris Air Show, is worth $250 million.
Sunrock, based in Dublin, is buying two current-generation 737-300s, which carry 128-149 passengers, and five next-generation 737-600s, which carry 108.
