Mike Tyson will be able to travel more freely, including overseas, under a modification of the terms of his probation, court records show.

Tyson, convicted of raping a beauty pageant contestant in 1991, now will be required to check in by telephone once a month with Marion County’s chief probation officer.

The British Medical Association renewed its call for a ban on boxing after a British fighter was left in critical condition with brain injuries.

Chris Henry, 28, was listed as “critical but stable” at London’s Oldchurch Hospital after surgery to remove a blood clot from his brain.

Henry was hospitalized Tuesday following a punishing loss to fellow Briton cruiserweight Dominic Negus.

The FBI arrested Richard L. Christiansen, 43, of Tremonton, Utah, who is accused of threatening to blow up the Delta Center in Salt Lake City unless paid an undisclosed sum by Utah Jazz owner Larry Miller.
