Six Teens Hurt When Car Rolls Onto Its Side

Six teenagers were injured when the driver of a van fell asleep - causing the 1988 Plymouth to roll onto its side Saturday morning, throwing the driver and a passenger from the wreckage.

Jacob Harding, 16, was driving on State Highway 27 at 9:25 near Freeman when he dozed and lost control, the Washington State Patrol reported.

The teenagers, from Plummer and Worley, Idaho, were taken to hospitals where they were treated and released.

Harding suffered a fractured left leg. Ronald Torpey, 15, suffered internal injuries and a head wound.

Samuel Montague, 17, suffered from scrapes and muscle strain. Spencer Montague, 15, had scrapes and a concussion.

Dustin Brouse, 16, suffered from arm lacerations and a sprained ankle. Michelle Kelley, 14, suffered a head injury and had shoulder and wrist pain. , DataTimes
