Gold Reserve Finds More Deposits

Gold Reserve Corp. said Monday it has discovered more gold and copper on its Venezuelan land.

The Spokane-based company has added 900,000 ounces of gold and 150 million more pounds of copper from northern and southwestern drillings. The new discovery increases total deposits to 7.3 million ounces of gold and 950 million pounds of copper.

The company’s Placer Dome project is still on hold until word from the Venezuelan government on mining the land.

Gold Reserve’s stock finished at $8.125 Monday, remaining unchanged from Friday’s close. , DataTimes
