Watercraft Limits On River Will End

Temporary restrictions on motorized crafts along the Pend Oreille River will be lifted at 8 a.m. Wednesday.

The restrictions, in place since May 22, were due to high-water levels and the increased likelihood of damage to property and homes along the river.

Authorities said the emergency no-wake zone on the river from Box Canyon south remains in effect. , DataTimes
