State Getting Grant To Repair Roads, Bridges
The Federal Highway Administration is making available $30.1 million to repair roads and bridges in Washington state damaged by heavy rain and flooding in January and March.
“Washington state suffered tremendous damage due to flooding in March,” said U.S. Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash. “This money comes not a moment too soon to make repairs to the infrastructure so vital to the people of this state.”
The money will be used to repair roads in the counties of Adams, Clallam, Cowlitz, Ferry, Franklin, Grays Harbor, Jefferson, King, Kitsap, Kittitas, Lewis, Lincoln, Mason, Pacific, Pend Oreille, Pierce, Skagit, Snohomish, Spokane, Stevens, Thurston, Whatcom and Whitman.
