Down On The Corner … Tap Your Feet

Those who need a break from the weekend basketball melee, can catch some live tunes at an outdoor concert on the corner of Third and Howard in Spokane Saturday.

Twelve Northwest bands will perform starting at noon.

Although the bands music styles vary greatly - from punk to folk - most have a basis in Christianity.

The schedule:

Noon - Face First, a punk band from Post Falls.

12:45 p.m. - Little Felix, a punk band from Spokane.

1:30 p.m. - Juggernaut, a punk band from Spokane.

2:25 p.m. - Deadlock, a Spokane hard core band.

3:20 p.m. - Dead Reckoning, a metal band based in North Idaho.

4:15 p.m. - Feeling Strange, a pop rock band from Kelowna, British Columbia.

5:10 p.m. - Playdoh Canon, garage/thrash music out of Seattle.

6 p.m. - Cry Manna, a wellrespected pop band from Spokane.

7 p.m. - Champion Birdwatchers, a Coeur d’Alene alternative pop band.

7:55 p.m. - Derc the Enforcer, a Coeur d’Alene funk band.

8:40 p.m. - Strange Occurrence, an pop rock band from Auburn.

9:30 p.m. - Wendy Bailey, a folk rock musician from Seattle.
