Zheng Scores 28 For Sparks

Zheng Haixia scored 18 of her 28 points in the first half as the Los Angeles Sparks defeated the Sacramento Monarchs 93-73 Friday.

Zheng, the league’s tallest player at 6-foot-8, made 10 of 15 shots and had a game-high 10 rebounds.

Ruthie Bolton-Holifield led Sacramento with 20 points.
