Four More For Best

Veteran jockey Frank Best, campaigning regularly at Playfair Race Course for the first time in more than a decade, capped a big weekend by riding four winners Sunday at the Spokane track.

After collecting five victories Saturday, Best took Sunday’s second race with Breadwinner, the fourth astride Carousel Mewsic, the seventh aboard My Best Habit and the featured eighth race on Win D. Best had 11 victories for the weekend, giving him 29 for the season. He has tied Brian Eide, idled by a one-week suspension, for third place.
