DeLisha Milton scored 26 points to lift No. 10 Florida to an 83-72 win Sunday in Chattanooga, Tenn., over No. 7 Alabama, advancing the Gators to the Southeastern Conference tournament’s championship game for the first time in school history.
Florida (21-7) faces Auburn (20-9) in today’s title game.
Auburn beat defending champion No. 8 Tennessee (23-10) 61-59 on Laticia Morris’ driving layup with 1.9 seconds left.

Jessica Gaspar hit a 3-pointer with 1:11 left to help the Tar Heels (27-2) shake off the Tigers (19-10) and pull away to a victory in the Atlantic Coast Conference championship game. It was North Carolina’s third title in the last four years.

At Indianapolis, the Illini (22-6) used timely 3-point shooting to defeat the Spartans (21-7) in the semifinals of the Big Ten Conference tournament.

Julie Murdent and Brittany Lindhe each scored 15 points to help the Dons (25-5) upset the top-seeded Pilots (27-2) 65-59 in overtime to win the West Coast Conference championship in Los Angeles and gain an automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament. Central Valley graduate Kristin Hepton, of Portland, sat out the tournament because of an injury.
