Janek Co. Opening Liberty Lake Office

Janek Co. plans to open its third real estate sales office in a new, unnamed Liberty Lake office building.

Jan Ekstrom, president of Janek Co., said construction of the facility will begin this spring. She would not identify the developer or disclose the location of the project.

The 7,000-square foot office building will include 3,000 square feet of space occupied by Janek’s offices, which will accommodate 25 sales people. The rest of the building wil be occcupied by other tenants.

Ekstrom opened her first office in Spokane two years ago. Since then, volume has tripled and her sales force has doubled, she said. The company opened a second office in Coeur d’Alene in November and has moved its Spokane office into a newly designed office in the Marycliff Building on West Seventh. That office is staffed with 24 agents and the Coeur d’Alene office is staffed with eight.

“The Liberty Lake office will be a key location to handle the market area we cover,” said Ekstrom. Her company, which specializes in luxury homes and corporate relocation, sells homes throughout Washington and Idaho.

Flower shop changes hands

Every Bloomin’ Thing florist has new owners. Nora and Allan Dolomont moved to Spokane last summer from Connecticut and bought the shop in January.

Offerings at the shop, 10617 E. Sprague, include silk flowers and gourmet gift baskets. The Dolomonts also run a cash-and-carry special every Friday, when all cut flowers are 50 percent off.

Nail salon moves

Feminine Touch Nail Salon has moved from Dishman Square to 9305 E. Mission, across from the Holiday Inn Express.

The nail and hair salon has expanded its services to include massage therapy, said owner Crystal Hoffman.
