Jerry Tarkanian has seen a lot and been through a lot more in his 26 years of major college coaching.

Never has he seen a team disintegrate in front of him as Fresno State did in a cloud of point-shaving allegations.

With rumors of point-shaving surrounding his team, Tarkanian could only sit back and watch with a sorrowful look on his face as the Bulldogs were beaten 106-81 by Texas Christian in the quarterfinals of the Western Athletic Conference tournament.

A day that started with the Fresno Bee reporting that rumors of point-shaving were being investigated by authorities got worse as Mike Jones and the rest of the TCU team scored at will against Fresno State’s lethargic defense.
