Funeral Service Today For Chamber Official

Services will be held this afternoon for Spokane Area Chamber of Commerce spokesman C. Michael Archer, who died Tuesday.

Archer, 51, was a published poet and one-time director of the Spokane Arts Commission. He spent 16 years with the chamber, handling everything from military affairs to small business to relocation services.

Archer is survived by his wife, Mary, and two daughters. His funeral service will be at 2 p.m. at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home North, 5100 W. Wellesley.
