Casino Reports To Go Public

A Thurston County Superior Court judge has ruled that certain tribal casino reports filed with the state Gambling Commission must be shared with the public.

Judge Christine Pomeroy ruled Tuesday that the tribes must disclose the 2 percent of the casino revenues they set aside to pay for police, roads and other costs incurred by nearby nontribal communities because of the casino.
