Fee To Be Charged At Milner Rec Area

Starting this summer, the U.S. Bureau of Land Management will charge a fee to enjoy the Milner Recreation Area on the Snake River.

The fee will be $3 to enter the recreation area and $5 for camping, BLM recreation planner Bill McNally said.

Vehicles in the area will be checked for permits.

The fee is to be collected under a pilot program for recreation sites, said Tom Dyer, BLM area manager.
