Learn River Rescue

Rafters, kayakers and canoeists can learn techniques for swiftwater rescues in a day-long course on the Spokane River on March 23.

Experts will teach classroom and on-the-water sessions in solo and group rescue situations. Pre-registration is required for the course, sponsored by the Spokane Parks and Recreation Department. Cost: $75. Info: 625-6200.
