Spokane Teen Injured In Car Crash

A 16-year-old boy was seriously injured Friday after a car crash in the Spokane Valley.

Edward W. Pospistl of Spokane was headed north on Bowdish Road at about 9 p.m. when he collided with an eastbound vehicle on 24th Avenue.

He broke a rib and suffered upper arm and head injuries. He was transported to Sacred Heart Medical Center where he was in serious but stable condition late Saturday.

Mike J. Bevacqua of Spokane, the driver of the other car, was not hurt. His passenger, Angela D. Elverum of Spokane, suffered knee and back pain. She was brought to Valley Hospital and Medical Center, where she was treated and released.

Both cars were totaled. , DataTimes
