Idaho Hunters Can Get Their Heads Examined

Compiled From Wire Services

Idaho hunters with potentially record-size big game trophies have a chance to make their bragging rights official.

Trophy antlers, and skulls (all cleaned) should be dropped off at the Fish and Game Department office in Coeur d’Alene on Monday and Tuesday for official measuring and a chance at entry into the Boone and Crockett (rifle), Pope and Young (archery), Longhunter (muzzle loader), and State of Idaho record books.

Hunters should put a tag on each entry indicating county and state where taken, date taken, hunter/owner name and address, and the type of firearm they used.

Entries will be available for pick-up between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on March 28th.
