Pair Sought After Man Stabbed

From Staff And Wire Reports

A Coeur d’Alene man was stabbed in the left buttock Sunday after an argument with acquaintances, police said.

Aaron Gardner, 20, was attacked about 3 p.m. in the 1300 block of Aden Avenue, said Sgt. Greg Smith. Gardner was also beaten after receiving the superficial stab wound, said Smith.

“His pride’s hurt more than anything else,” said Smith. “But he did get poked.”

Witnesses said Gardner was stabbed by a former roommate who accused the victim of slashing a tire last week.

“They just came to stab him and leave,” said one witness, who didn’t want her name used.

Gardner’s girlfriend, Morgan Stamper, said the attacker was mad because someone slashed his tires, and thought it was Gardner.

Police are looking for two Hispanic men. One is described as about 19 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds. He has dark hair and brown eyes.

The other suspect is described as about 21 years old, heavyset with short brown hair and a birthmark on his upper lip.

The suspects were last seen in a newer model Ford Bronco. , DataTimes
