Lack Of Vasectomy May Put Man In Jail

Compiled From Wire Services

A 25-year-old man is accused of failing to get a vasectomy as promised in a plea bargain to avoid trial for impregnating two underage girls.

Wayne Russell Thomas faces up to 17 years in prison if a judge decides he violated terms of his probation, which included the vasectomy.

In April 1994, Thomas pleaded guilty to lewd and lascivious conduct for having sex with a 15-year-old who got pregnant. Under the agreement, Thomas served a year in jail and agreed to have the vasectomy within 90 days.
