A 19-year-old Coeur d’Alene man has been charged with felony aggravated battery for allegedly stabbing another man in the buttocks.
Jesus M. Cortez posted bond and was released from the Kootenai County Jail Thursday.
Aaron Gardner, 20, was attacked about 3 p.m. on Sunday after an argument with Cortez, according to Coeur d’Alene police.
Witnesses said Cortez stabbed Gardner because he believed Gardner had slashed his tires last week. The two had formerly been roommates. Gardner’s wound was only superficial.
