Fallan Is Named To Chamber Post

Janelle Fallan, executive director of the Momentum organization since 1995, has been named director of special projects for the Spokane Area Chamber of Commerce.

Fallan will be responsible for administration of the New Century Plan, an economic development plan formulated over the past year by a broad base of community representatives.

Fallan’s will also provide assistance on Focus 21’s economic development plan to create 10,000 new higher-paying jobs throughout the region over the next five years.

Earlier this year, Momentum, a privately-funded economic development group, phased itself out of existence after 10 years. Its successor is Focus 21, which will be administered by the Chamber of Commerce. , DataTimes
