Loving It And Leaving It

Associated Press

Satisfaction in their work isn’t enough to keep many employees from getting the wanderlust and moving on.

A study of more than 1,000 workers by Ohio State University determined that after about four years with an employer, workers who rated their job satisfaction as high were just as likely to leave as those who were less happy.

According to the study, factors that influence a satisfied employee to quit may include the amount of commitment to a job, family considerations or the desire for a new challenge.
