Willis To Premiere His New Sci-Fi Adventure

Actor Bruce Willis will premiere his latest film, “The Fifth Element,” at the Liberty Theater in Hailey on Friday and it will be a fund-raising event for the 20th anniversary of the Northern Rockies Folk Festival.

“The Fifth Element” will be the fourth film to debut at the Liberty, which Willis and his wife, Demi Moore, refurbished and reopened in 1995. The other movies were “Twelve Monkeys,” “Last Man Standing” and Moore’s “Striptease.”

The premiere will help defray production costs of the folk festival, scheduled Aug. 7-9 in the Hailey City Park.

Tickets are $50 for main floor seating and $75 for the balcony love seats.

“The Fifth Element” is a science fiction thriller about a 23rd-century antihero who seeks to prevent the destruction of the universe.
