Woman Killed, Six Others Hurt When Van Rolls On I-84 Median

A Sumner, Wash., woman was killed and six other people injured when the van they were in rolled into the median of Interstate 84 just north of the Utah border.

Authorities identified the victim as Sang Ee Dak-Hwang, 26. She was in a van driven by her husband Wednesday when he lost control on Sweetzer Summit, overcorrected to get out of the median only to sideswipe a tractor-trailer rig and roll into the median again.

Jin Ha Hwang, his two children and another passenger were in stable condition on Thursday. The final passenger was in serious condition.
