Dear Heloise: I have a tip that will help all those bachelors out there.

I was cleaning out my refrigerator the other day and I came across a plastic container of leftovers that had been in there for a frighteningly long time. I was reluctant to open the container for fear of being overcome by fumes, but I didn’t want to throw away the container, either.

Then I had the idea of putting the container in the freezer. The next day, I popped out the frozen contents and threw them away with no fuss and no smell. It worked great! - Troy Smith, Dallas
