Post Falls School District Honors Three Employees

The Post Falls School District has chosen the Educational Support Personnel Employees of the Month for April, May and June.

Jan Litzenberger, chosen for April, has worked as a paraprofessional in the resource room at Seltice Elementary School since 1988. She was commended for her exemplary attitude.

Dawna Shepard, May Employee of the Month, has worked for the district for eight years and serves as the administrative secretary for special services and the district substitute coordinator. She was recognized for hard work and dedication to the special education programs and contacting teacher substitutes.

Sue Wood, a maintenance employee who was chosen for June, is responsible for maintenance projects at Seltice Elementary School and also serves in other areas of the district.

Wood was cited for her positive attitude with a smile and going above and beyond in her duties.

Marine Lance Cpl. Rebecca Franzatti, daughter of William and Betty Franzatti of Hayden Lake, Idaho, was recently promoted to her current rank.

Peter Thomas Crowley, a University of Idaho junior and son of Polly Thompson Crowley and Thomas Crowley of Post Falls, has been awarded a University of Idaho scholarship from Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.

Crowley, one of 15 scholarship winners who are juniors, seniors, graduate students and parents, siblings, children or grandchildren of sorority members from around the nation, must use the scholarship at UI.
