Bird Fair Returns

Birding

Guided garden tours, tips on birding and identification of shrubs, trees and wildlife habitat plants will be featured at the annual Blossoms and Bloomers Bird Fair June 7-8 northeast of Spokane.

The garden of hosts Gerry and Ron Krueger will be open to the public 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Audubon groups will be on hand, as well as the state, which will have information on its backyard wildlife sanctuary program.

To reach the garden, drive one mile east on Bigelow Gulch Road from its intersection with Argonne Road, then one mile north on Pleasant Prairie Road to Krueger Lane and one-half mile east on Krueger Lane.
