Ncaa A Foreign Affair

UNLV’s Luke Smith and George Bastl of Southern California won semifinal matches to set up an all-foreign final in the NCAA DivisionI men’s tennis championship.

Smith defeated Olivier Tauma of Virginia Commonwealth 6-3, 7-6 (7-4) and Bastl got by Sebastien DeChaunac of Mississippi 3-6, 6-4, 7-5.

Smith, a senior from Australia, and Bastl, a junior from Switzerland, will meet in today’s final at the Los Angeles Tennis Center.
