Two Arrested In Drug Raid At Motel

Two men whom police accused of operating a methamphetamine lab in a Kettle Falls motel will be arraigned Friday.

Dallas P. Peterson, 32, and Daniel L. Cornell, 39, were arrested Monday when officers from the Stevens County Sheriff’s Department, Kettle Falls Police and Washington State Patrol searched a van and raided the drug lab.

Peterson was arrested on suspicion of manufacturing methamphetamines, second-degree assault, first-degree possession of stolen property and being a felon in possession of a handgun. He was being held in the county jail in lieu of $15,000 bail.

Cornell was booked on suspicion of manufacturing methamphetamines and driving with a suspended license. He was later released on his own recognizance.
