Hints From Heloise

King Features Syndicate

Dear Heloise: I have found numerous hints published in the Heloise column of our daily Windsor Star most useful.

Here is one method I use when baking apples: Cut apples in half and remove the core. Place each half cut-side up in a muffin tin and fill the cavities with syrup or sugar and cinnamon. The result is there is no mess or spill.

Thank you for your useful hints. - John Boghean, Windsor, Ontario Send a money- or time-saving hint to Heloise, PO Box 795000, San Antonio TX 78279-5000 or fax it to 210-HELOISE. I can’t answer your letter personally but will use the best hints received in my column.
