Eldred Krupke Spokane
Service for Eldred E. Krupke, 90, was Tuesday at Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home. Burial was at Riverside Memorial Park.
Mr. Krupke, who died Thursday, was born near Mondovi, Wash.
He ranched near John Day, Ore., and operated a Ford dealership in Lakeview, Ore., until he moved to Spokane in 1975.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lola Barnhouse Krupke.
His second wife, Madge (Harmon) Krupke, died in 1996 after 25 years of marriage.
Mr. Krupke is survived by a brother, Earl Krupke.

Roy Zinter Diamond Lake, Wash.
Private service for Roy V. Zinter, 71, was held. Coffelt Funeral Service in Sandpoint was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Zinter, who was born in Sandpoint, died May 17.
He grew up in Sandpoint and graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1944. He served with the Navy in the Pacific Theater and China during World War II.
He went on to work at Farragut Naval Station before following heavy construction jobs throughout the Northwest.
He later moved to Diamond Lake.
Survivors include a brother, Bill Zinter of Oregon.
Shirley Wilcox Spokane
Private entombment will be held for Shirley G. Wilcox, 74, at Greenwood Memorial Terrace. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Wilcox, who was born in Laramie, Wyo., died Friday.
A 50-year Spokane resident, she had worked as an administrative secretary at Eastern Washington University and retired in 1984.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Wilcox.
Mrs. Wilcox is survived by two daughters, Sheri Young of Spokane and Sandra Campbell of Portland; and two grandchildren.
Mary Kuntz Four Lakes
Service for Mary C. Kuntz, 94, was Tuesday at the Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home. Burial was at Fairmount Memorial Park.
Mrs. Kuntz, who was born in Spokane, died Friday.
She was a longtime resident of Four Lakes and was a homemaker.
Her husband, Perry Kuntz, died in 1966.
She is survived by a daughter, Stella Schuldt of Spokane; and five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Bernard Rasor Medimont, Idaho
Service for Bernard N. Rasor, 90, will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the Harrison Community Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Harrison City Cemetery. Yates-Hodge Funeral Home in St. Maries is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Rasor, who was born in Medimont, died Sunday.
He grew up in Medimont and worked as a dairy farmer and logger, as well as driving a school bus.
He built the Valley Mart store in Medimont in 1966 and sold the store in 1971 and retired.
In 1936 he married Grace Waters. She died in 1957.
He married Ellen Markings in 1958.
Mr. Rasor was a member of the Harrison Community Baptist Church and a charter member of the Medicine Mountain Grange.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Doug Rasor of Coeur d’Alene and Terry Rasor of California; a stepdaughter, Joanne Robinson of Olympia; a brother, Neil Rasor of Medimont; three sisters, Sylvia Charest of Spokane, Frances Shinn of Caldwell, Idaho, and Alice Burmeister of Medimont; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mervin ‘Marv’ Sternburg Spokane
Graveside service for Mervin F. “Marv” Sternburg, 76, was Wednesday at the Greenwood Memorial Terrace.
Mr. Sternburg, who died Thursday, was born in Canada.
He served in the Army during World War II and was a truck driver for Beacon Van Lines for many years.
Mr. Sternburg was preceded in death by his wife, Mary.
Survivors include a stepson, Gene Dammon.
Ellen Lowry Tekoa, Wash.
Service for Ellen Lowry, 83, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Central Seventh-day Adventist Church in Spokane. Burial will be at the Spangle (Wash.) Cemetery. Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Lowry, who was born in Fairfield, Wash., died Monday.
She was a 44-year resident of the Tekoa/Rosalia area and a homemaker.
Mrs. Lowry was a member Central Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Oliver Lowry; two sons, Edward Lowry of Coeur d’Alene and James Lowry of Salem, Ore.; two daughters, Dorothy Pavlic of Spokane and Roberta O’Hare of Forest Falls, Calif.; five brothers, George, Carl, Elmer, Lester and Norman Rasmussen; and 14 grandchildren.

Lucille Green Spokane
Service for Lucille O. Green, 83, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home. Burial will be at Spokane Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Green, who was born in Hillyard, died Sunday.
She graduated from Hillyard High School and Kinman Business College.
In 1935 she married Raymond “Jiggs” Green.
She had worked for many years as a bookkeeper and secretary and later worked at the Spokane Postal Credit Union for 17 years. She retired in 1975.
She was a member of Ivanhoe Chapter No. 80 Order of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Green is survived by her husband, Raymond; a daughter, Diana Williams of Tacoma; a brother, Donald Wallace of Bellevue, Wash.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Spokane or the Shriners Hospital for Children.
Helen Hargrave Spokane
Service for Helen F. Hargrave, 71, will be at 11 a.m. today at the Riplinger Funeral Home. Burial will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
Mrs. Hargrave, who was born in Sikeston, Mo., died Monday.
She was a 49-year Spokane resident and worked as a waitress for various restaurants.
Survivors include six daughters, Donna Naccarato of Colbert, Pam Carper of Issaquah, Wash., Nelda Gross of Federal Way, Wash., Debra Barnett and Tammie Hargrave, both of Spokane, and Reba Martin of Seattle; three sons, Chuck Hargrave of Kalispell, Mont., and Ricky and Michael Hargrave, both of Spokane; two brothers, Robert Jacobs of Kennewick and Donald Jacobs of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; 23 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Irene Erickson Spokane
Memorial service for Irene Ella Erickson, 81, will be at 1 p.m. today at Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home.
Mrs. Erickson, who was born in Wendell, Idaho, died Tuesday in Glenns Ferry, Idaho, while visiting her sister.
She attended the University of Idaho and in 1939 married Olai Erickson in Moscow, Idaho.
She had lived in Spokane for 50 years and was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Nine Hole Ladies Golf Club at Wandermere Golf Course, the Eagles Auxiliary, the Elks Lodge, the Federated Garden Club, and the Audubon Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Erickson is survived by her husband; a son, Greg Erickson of Kirkland, Wash.; four sisters, a brother and three grandchildren.
Andrew Regan Sr. Spokane
Private graveside service for Andrew L. Regan Sr., will be held today at the Notre Dame Cemetery in Central Falls, R.I.
Mr. Regan, who was born in Newark, N.J., died Tuesday. He was 88.
He had worked as a machinist for Sylvania Electronic and moved to Spokane 15 years ago.
His wife, Beatrice Regan, died in 1992.
Survivors include two sons, Andrew Regan of Spokane and Norman Regan of Volcano, Calif.; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Kenneth Hollinshead King City, Ore.
Graveside service for Kenneth Grier “Kenny” Hollinshead will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.
Mr. Hollinshead, who was born in Coeur d’Alene, died Saturday. He was 80.
He graduated from Coeur d’Alene High School and worked for the Forest Service for several years.
He served in the Army in Europe during World War II and in 1945 received an honorable discharge and returned to Coeur d’Alene. He later worked for the Naval Supply Depot in Spokane.
In 1948 he married Ena Kelson, and they lived in Coeur d’Alene until moving to Cocolalla Lake in Idaho.
They moved to Sandpoint in 1996 and then to King City last February.
He was a member of the Eagles Lodge.
Mr. Hollinshead is survived by his wife; two stepsons, Phillip Kelson of Lake Oswego, Ore., and Raymond Kelson of Tigard, Ore.; a stepdaughter, Paulene Hubbard of Tigard; a sister, Emma Stewart of Stockton, Calif.; a brother, Arge Hollinshead of Rathdrum, Idaho; 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one greatgreat-grandchild.

Irene Lund Spokane
Visitation for Irene R. Lund, 77, will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today at Heritage Funeral Home. Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Riverside Memorial Park.
Mrs. Lund, a lifetime Spokane resident, died Tuesday.
She graduated from Mead High School and worked as a retail clerk at Newberry’s, Yellow Front and Checker Auto.
She was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons and the Moran Prairie Grange.
Two husbands preceded her in death: Chester Delbridge died in World War II, and Robert Lund died in 1964.
Mrs. Lund is survived by two sons, Bill Lund of Moscow, Idaho and Steven Lund of Milwaukie, Ore.; a brother, Mel Walker of Green Bluff; two sisters, Katherine Ness and Evelyn McGinnis, both of Spokane; and two grandchildren.

Edna (Cornett) Sampson Spokane
Service for Edna M. (Cornett) Sampson will be at 2 p.m. today at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-North. Burial will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
Mrs. Sampson, who was born in Enterprise, Ore., died Tuesday. She was 80.
She moved to Spokane in 1956 from Idaho and married Edward Sampson in 1969.
She was a homemaker and a member of Ridgeview Christian Center.
She was preceded in death by two previous husbands, Garrold Knowles and Albert Watson.
Mrs. Sampson is survived by her husband; four sons, Richard Knowles, and Len, Loren and Albert Watson; two daughters, Carmelita Bredesen and Barbara Bilbrey; a brother, Melvin Cornett of Oroville, Wash.; two sisters, Esther Saxton of Fruitland, Idaho, and Shirley Babcock of Sacramento, Calif.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bertha Debord Portland
Memorial service for Bertha Monica Debord, 96, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Yates Funeral Home in Coeur d’Alene. Mrs. Debord, who was born in Priest River, Idaho died Sunday.
She grew up in Spokane and began a teaching career.
She married Ray Debord in 1924 and moved to Creston, Wash.
Mrs. Debord also lived in Post Falls and Oregon where she continued her education, graduating from college at age 69.
She retired in 1971 and moved to Port Townsend, Wash., before settling in Hayden Lake. She recently moved to Portland.
Her husband died in 1984.
Survivors include a son, Ray Debord of Portland; five daughters, Margy Irick of California, Shirley Sicilia of Spokane, Irene Cuff of Hayden Lake, Jean Borley of Post Falls and Claudia Meikle of Oregon; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

James Edwards Helena
Memorial service for James Edwards, 85, will be at 2 p.m. today at Pines Cemetery in Spokane. Retz Funeral Home in Helena was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Edwards, who was born in Bracebridge, Ontario, died Dec. 10, 1996.
He moved with his family to Spokane from Canada at the age of 11.
He worked for Union Pacific Railroad for more than 30 years, retiring as a train dispatcher.
Mr. Edwards moved to Helena from Spokane in 1985.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Agnus Deihl, and his second wife Dorothy Greene.
He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Twiggs of Helena; a son, Roger Edwards of Spokane; a sister, Stella Bolser Spokane; and three grandchildren.
Vernon Woods Spokane
Service for Vernon W. Woods, 74, will be at 1 p.m. today at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park.
Born In Tooele, Utah, Mr. Woods, died Monday.
He was a 30-year Spokane resident and had worked as a janitor for Washington Water Power Co.
He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.
Mr. Woods is survived by his wife of 49 years, Nora; four sons, Fred Woods of Airway Heights, and Donald, Danny and Vernon “Bill” Woods Jr., all of Spokane; four daughters, Kathy Hill, Loretta Peterson and Mickey Dudley all of Spokane, and Laurie Hitt of Phoenix; a brother, Jim Woods of Las Vegas; three sisters, Joyce, Bonnie and Hazel; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Grace Minzel Colville, Wash.
Service for Grace E. Minzel, 88, will be at 11 a.m today at the Colville United Methodist Church. Private burial will be at the Fairmount Memorial Park Cemetery in Spokane. Danekas Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Minzel, who was born in Colville, died Sunday.
She graduated from Colville High School and in 1928 she married Herb Minzel.
They owned Minzel Motor Co., a Ford dealership, in Colville from 1927 to 1950. Herb Minzel died in 1973.
Mrs. Minzel was a member of the Stevens County Historical Society, Eagles Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary and the Forty Club.
She is survived by a son, Bob Minzel of Moses Lake; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

James McLaughlin Spokane
Memorial Mass for James McLaughlin, 63, will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. McLaughlin, a lifetime Spokane resident, died May 20.
He had worked as a security guard.
Mr. McLaughlin was known as ham radio operator W7JZ or N7TKS, and in 1995 became an extra class operator.
He worked as a volunteer examiner for the American Radio Relay League’s testing sessions and used his communication skills on the ham radio to help during Firestorm ‘91 and Ice Storm ‘96.
Survivors include two brothers, John McLaughlin of Spokane and Edward McLaughlin of Oak Harbor, Wash.; and a sister, Patricia Lemon of Spokane.
