Utah State Gets By Boise State With Late Score

Matt Sauk threw a 19-yard touchdown pass to Nakia Jenkins with 1:14 remaining Saturday to give Utah State a 24-20 victory over Boise State at Logan, Utah.

Jenkins’ catch capped a 62-yard drive that came on the heels of a 9-yard touchdown pass from Bart Hendricks to Rodney Smith, which gave Boise State a 20-17 lead with 2:51 remaining.

Hendricks passed for 276 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. The final pick, by Johndale Carty, clinched the win for Utah State (5-4, 3-0) with 18 seconds left.

Nevada’s John Dutton completed 25 of 33 passes for 367 yards, going 15 for 16 for 207 yards in the first half as the Wolf Pack (3-0 Big West, 4-5 overall) took a 24-14 lead.
