Mike Pringle rushed for a Canadian Football League playoff record 264 yards on 32 carries and the Montreal Alouettes defeated the visiting B.C. Lions 45-35 in the CFL East semifinal playoff game, putting them into the East final next week against the Toronto Argonauts.

In Calgary, Alberta, quarterback Reggie Slack ran for the winning touchdown with less than a minute remaining to boost the Saskatchewan Roughriders over the heavily favored Calgary Stampeders 33-30 in the CFL West semifinal. They’ll play the Edmonton Eskimos in the division final next Sunday.
