Nic Forward Ryan Planning To Play At Colorado In ‘98

North Idaho College sophomore forward Steven Ryan has orally committed to play basketball at the University of Colorado, NIC coach Hugh Watson said.

Ryan is an Australian native who finished his high school career in Louisiana. He originally signed with Colorado before ending up at NIC last season.

“He was going to wait awhile and see about some other schools,” Watson said, “but he went ahead and committed.”

The 6-foot-8 Ryan emerged as a force late last season and is starting this year.
