Meeting Will Address Flooding Concerns

People concerned about flooding problems along lower Hangman Creek are invited to a public meeting next Wednesday.

The Hangman Creek Stream Team will host its first meeting for the public at 6:30 p.m. at The Creek at Qualchan Golf Course club house.

The stream team is gathering information from private landowners and government agencies to come up with a plan for flood-control funding.

The group was formed last year after severe floods damaged stream banks the previous winter.

Now, the group hopes to identify solutions that could be a basis for seeking flood-control grants.
