Hints From Heloise

King Features Syndicate

Dear Heloise: Suggest that men and women carry at least one adhesive bandage or other sterile strip in their wallet or purse. I’ve done this for years and about once every month or so some unexpected need comes up. After using or giving the bandage to someone, replenish your supply upon returning home. - George Fauth, Pasadena, Md.

A very good suggestion and one that I, too, use, along with carrying a few safety pins and a small pen. It pays to be prepared! - Heloise
