Deputies Arrest 4 In Four Lakes Heist

Spokane County sheriff’s deputies arrested four people after an armed robbery in Four Lakes on Sunday.

Jason Ray Ellenwood and Theresa Acosta, both 18, and Margarita Rocha, 38, were booked into the Spokane County Jail on charges of first-degree robbery. A 17-year-old boy was booked into Spokane County Juvenile Detention on a charge of first-degree robbery as well as a parole violation for second-degree robbery.

Two men robbed the Exxon gas station at state Highway 904 and Interstate 90 about 7 p.m. Sunday, deputies said.

The men went into the store, and one displayed a handgun. They took money, beer and cigarettes, deputies said.

Two witnesses provided descriptions of the getaway car and its license plate, deputies said.

Medical Lake police first spotted the car eastbound on Interstate 90 near the Medical Lake exit. A sheriff’s deputy stopped the car at the Lincoln/Maple Street exit. Money from the robbery was recovered at the scene, deputies said.
