Hints From Heloise

King Features Syndicate

Dear Heloise: As senior citizens, we have accumulated a large number of cards authorizing discounts in restaurants, stores, hotels, etc.

We purchased a small photo album and indicated the day or days each discount is valid. We keep this book in the glove compartment of our car, so it is always available when we are out. To carry all of them in our wallets would be impossible. - Charles Hebler, Baltimore

Dear Heloise: Do you have trouble hooking up your bracelet? No fancy gadget is needed.

Tear off several inches of tape. Lay your hand on the table, palm down. Drape the bracelet over your wrist, with the eye overhanging a bit. Put tape over the bracelet and onto your skin. Lift your arm up, open the clasp and hook it into the eye. It works for me all the time. - Marge Ray, St. Louis
