Idaho Unemployment Rate Climbs Slightly
Idaho’s forecasted unemployment rate increased slightly to 5.1 percent in October.
The rate is one-tenth of a percentage point higher than a month before and the same as October 1996.
Panhandle unemployment remained unchanged between September and October at 7.7 percent. The rate decreased from October 1996, when unemployment was at 8.1 percent for the five northern counties.
